Jiaqi is an Interdisciplinary Designer and Artist whose work is rooted in imagination, identity, and the art of fusion. Her creative journey is shaped by curiosity, everyday life, and a desire for discovery. Drawing inspiration from nature and culture, Jiaqi crafts textured, meaningful experiences that bridge emotion, material, and form.
For Jiaqi, design is more than form and function it’s about creating emotional connections and inviting people to reflect, feel, and interact on a deeper level. Their practice blends multiple disciplines and explores the space between the tactile and the conceptual. Through lighting, ceramics, and furniture, they communicate ideas that are both personal and shared.
Their interdisciplinary approach merges tradition and innovation, storytelling and craft, resulting in work that transcends categories and resonates with the human experience. With each piece, Jiaqi invites us into a space where design becomes a vessel for connection, transformation, and thoughtful engagement.
Ellsworth Artist Residency Annual Exhibition
The Ellsworth Artist Residency program is dedicated to creating an accessible studio space for artists and is a dynamic opportunity for emerging artists to work and develop their visual art practice. The residency includes professional development opportunities including studio visits with curators, critics, scholars and artists as well as inclusion in a group exhibition in Art Share L.A.’s gallery. A selection committee, consisting of professionals in the field, including curators, scholars, and artists, reviews all the submitted applications.
